Hi,

I wanted to open an account with HSBC since I have some savings and they are offering 4.75% on their direct savings account.

TD is offering only about 3%.

Has anybody had any problems with HSBC.ca in terms of customer service etc.

Any other banks which are offering products. I am not interested in banking with ICICI.

Hi,
I have a small query about the HSBC bank. I having saving account with them (HSBC) in India for past 7 years. Whenever my immigration case get through, is it possible to continue the same account in Canada ? I mean , can I directly get my money transferred to HSBC account in Canada, or need to open another account once I land there?

GreatGuy, that 4.75% promo rate is only until May 2 and after that the interest rate drops to 3.30%. I hope you know that.

4.75% rate will only apply to the deposits u make until may 2nd. if you will make any deposits after that i will be 3.3 % in think.
