I have the misfortune of being stuck in the American Midwest, Lobster Bhai. I don't know what part of the US you lived in but I can tell you that here in the American heartland, people are barely smart enough to tell a Cow from a Donkey :D

Regards,

DT

As long as you have a job, i hopefully doesnt matter if they can tell the difference between the cow and donkey. I would rather be at such a place than in an enlightened society without a job.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

Well said Mercury :)
Desi, I do agree with your point of view but if you have well paid and decent job why to bother about these stupids, isn't it? ;)

Thanks and regards.

True, but one does get tired of fighting subtle racism in their everyday life and having to answer stupid questions like

Where are you from? India? Where is that?
or

India? Arn't we at war with you guys too?

or

India? So you "must" like it better here. - I really pity anyone who asks me that, "after" I get done with my tongue bashing ;)

and things like that.

You do seem to have the misfortune of meeting the wrong kind of people

I would not consider a harsh reality as misfortune!

Thanks and regards.

Well Said BioMed. Some people think that all is Hunky Dory with the World and refuse to accept the reality and in turn tend to criticize others who do.

Never criticize a man until you've walked a mile in his moccasins.
