I am new to Canada. I want to get a credit card. I have established credit history in US and got 2 credit cards from US.
Please advise if I can get a credit card in Canada and how?

Also, I am unable to a get a mobile phone without a credit card.

Sarthak,

Have you brought your credit history from US with you? Which Credit Cards from the US you have? Have you opened a bank account in Canada? If yes, you can show them your history and apply a credit card with them.

Alternatively, give me a call at 416-560-6951 or send me a personal email with details and I will advise you about getting credit card and how to start your credit history in Canada. Please note that there are no charges for my advice and it is free to all fellow desis.
