Hey i was wondering if anyone had any tips for the TEF test ? Has anyone done it and how hard is it? I've heard many different things about it being really hard so i am really worried. I have not been able to find any practice books and things other than classes. Does anyone know the best way to prepare and where i can find some online material? I have no time to attend classes- thats my only problem! I had to tak ea day off to do the test itself so i'm really worried! Please help
Contact these people and ask to see if there are any French schools that will provide you help for learning French Language at a High School near by you.

Here is a list of school boards that you can contact over the phone. I do not know your location and hence, please find the nearest one and make enquiries.
The school that is nearest to you, one that is teaching French, will be able to provide you with the list of books and if it is convenient to you also the education, if you mention that you are a NEW Immigrant and desirous of learning the language. Also find out the costs.
You can also contact Alliance Fracaise, they are the right people to contact for the appropriate training. The former is for the books and primary education.

Also contact Berlitz, for the level of language courses that you are seeking. Also note that most of these Language Materials are available to you at All or most of the Libraries in Ontario. If they are not available there, then you can ask to borrow from their affiliates. (Inter Library Loans)

It may sound a little bit hard and difficult at the beginning, but once you get to know the means and methods, you will master it.

Please tell us how you made out.

Side Note: Alliance Francaise has a course coming up in May and the Early birds get a break. So, call them first. Freddie.
