Hi Everyone, I am a Revit (Architecture Software) expert. I am a qualified architect in India. I give training to architect(Trained more than 800 architects in 4 different countries). Is there any one who can tell me about the scope of Revit trainer in Canada and is there any specific license requirement just like teacher.
thanks
Afaik i know there is not specific license requirement for teaching any autodesk softwares including Revit.
However doing a short course with an ATC may help you get your foot in the door. They do cost a bit. Lookup the Autodesk website for more info.
Just do a search on google for revit training toronto or some such. Heres what I found.

If you end up in Montreal (home of Autodesk-media/Ent division ie Max, Maya) somehow... I could set you up with a client of mine who runs a college catering to niche IT technologies and is looking to add new programs. He would be interested in fulltime as well as part-time/weekend programs.
You can e-mail me via the profile link.

In the past 5 years of being in Toronto, I have seen only one Architect's office (HOK, Canada) which has asked for people with Rivet Training. They had written that those who get selected will be trained in Rivet. So check thier office website for enquiries.
You can google and see if the colleges / universities in Ontario teach Rivet and then e-mail the dept's and ask them if Rivet is hot in Canada.
I know for sure that many classes in Colleges in Toronto for 3D-Studio have been cancelled for the want of a sufficient no. of candidates.
USA is a better market and Gulf is a hot market right now for Rivet ( I would assume.)
