Hi All,
I am planning to move to Alberta. Can any one please share his experience of moving to Calgary from toronto ? I am in dilema, whether to move with car and other househols items or dispose of everything and move there? Is there any way to move with all things and at minimal cost? Is it advisable to go to Alberta by car? Which route should we take? Is it safe?
Question for Those who have moved from Toronto to Albera: How do you find it to settle in Alberta in comparision to Toronto?
Some questions might look silly, but are really a big puzzle for me. Please throw some light.
Thanks,
PV
It depends in what condition u r moving
If with job, then most employers will pay for moving etc..
If not then better to leave & just come with required luggage
About driving, it all depends how much time & energy u have
It roughly 3000-3500 Km. Will take minimum 3-4 days
If you like driving & no kids, family but someone else also to drive, then its good idea
About settling it will not be difficult.
Ur Ontario health card will be valid for 3 months, licence u can easily change
But think about job & housing
If u r from enginerring or oil & gas, it will not be difficult
Also houses are costly compare to GTA
So think before moving
