I am right now in US and want to migrate in Canada. My project would at the most go on for another 6 months.

Now is it possible that I apply here in US ... my file resides here in US & I get my interview in New Delhi?

Thank you fro your kind words. You can apply in US and later do the interview in New Delhi but the file will have to transfered to Delhi from USA. The fee for transfer is $125 and once transferred, your file will join the queue - you'll get to the bottom of the pile.

If your status in USA is uncertain after 6 months, you'd be better off apply via N.Delhi right from the start. It'll save you time and money and unnecessary frustration.

If you can be in the US legally for longer say another 18 months, you could apply via USA.
