Hi All,
I was wondering if any of you have made a will (as in legal document) to legally ensure the custody of your kid (s) and your financial belongings go to your family incase something happens to both you and your spouse (like accidental death). How exactly does this work if your family is not in Canada. Do you have to appoint a lawyer to do this or any financial planner can do this. If anyone has done this, can you pls suggest the name of the lawyer/professional?
Thanks.

Hi,
As a primer, you could read a book called "You can't take it with you" (don't remember the author's name, but the book is available via the Toronto Library system).
Excellent material, explained in easy language.

I googled and found a book with this name and the Author of that book is:
Sandra E Foster.
Please see if that book is available in the Library nearest to you.
