I am 52 years old female. All my family members are Canadian citizens. While applying for for renewal of PR Card, do the they ask for a copy of passport in all cases or selected cases only. If in all cases, then why don't they insist for it along with the application i.e. this is not a requirement on the check-list.

Thanks for the response. By the way they ask for a photocopy of the passport for ID purpose, so would it not suffice to give the first 2 pages with personal details and pictures. I wd have thought that the first 2 pages would suffice. Please let me know. Thanks again!
In fact one of my friends went thru a lawyer for the renewal of PR Cards and the lawyer asked my friend to submit only the copy of the first 2 pages.
