I need advise
Scenario:
I migrated to Canada in Oct 2004. Got my PR Card in Nov 2004 valid till Nov 2009.
I stayed till April 2007 (850 odd days) with a 6 week vacation in between to India.
I actually left Canada with intention of not returning back due to some personal reasons. After reaching I got a job in a MNC in SW testing. Now all of sudden I feel I wanna return to Canada or at least keep my option open and wish to renew card.
My questions
1)Can I renew my PR card?
2) Can I renew it from India as I have till 2009 Oct till it expires or do I need to return to Canada.?
3) How much time does it take for renewal?
4)What is process?

It is going to be difficult if not impossible to renew your PR card sitting in India.
Why don't you look at the CIC website to see what the process is for renewal instead of posting such generic questions.

PR renewal form clearly states u need to physically present in canada.

U should return and apply for PR renewal.. but renewal application can only be filled after Sep 2009

I would sugest u get a year exp in india and return for good in Sep 2009 ..

Software Testing has a good market here, so ur job search may be more pleasent..
