I applied for Visit visa for my father and mother in law last month. We are expecting baby at the end of this month.
I sent him an invitation letter indicating that i will bear his expenses here etc.
I sent my Tax papers / Bank Statement / Job Letters and Doctor's letter as supporting documents.
My Father in law sent his property information/papers + his bank statements and a letter indicating that he will come back before his visa expires.
My mother in law got 6 months visa but his got rejected under section "179". The indicated that since he is retired, he may not come back.
Is there way to appeal? he is willing to give any kind of surety that he will come back.
I have no clue what can i do from my end here.
If some one has any clue please let me know.
THanks in Advance.
I cannot comment on your specific case, but after my mothers visa was rejected last year, this time I contacted the MP's office and the lady over there was immensely helpful in following up on my mothers file.
May be you want to speak to your MP's office and find out if they can help. I do understand the frustration of getting a visa rejected.
