Hi, Back once again with an immigrants' dilemma...

My parents are currently staying in Canada as visitors... I wanted to know if there is anyway I can sponsor them for immigration while they stay with me in Canada while their application is being processed....

I know I can extend their visit visa once, will it effect their future visitor visa/immigration applications?

Is there any other category where they can get PR quicker ... My father is 62 and mother is 50... Father is retired engineer... My father never had a business... But we can try investing (investor class) a couple of hundred thousand dollars if it reduces the application processing time significantly...

Can my father apply in some farmer category? (62 seems quite old for that.) What about my mom?

Regarding Investor category, the applicant must have a net worth of CAD $ 800,000 besides other eligibilty factors.

Farmer category is ruled out because of age factor and lack of prior experience.

Do not start an application without knowing all the eligibilty factors.
