Hello,
I am looking for a good Immigration lawyer to help me with my parents visitor visa aaplication. They have been rejected twice in last 2 years citing their not having enough ties with the country. This is ridiculous!!
If anyone has gone thorugh similar pains, would know what I am talking about.
you can contact me at
D
Please try the Yellow Pages of the telephone directory or on the web.
If you are in Ontario, then try and drop in at one of the Help Centers for the NEW Immigrants. Please sign in and get help. That will be free, might cost couple of BUS tickets.
Good Luck
Freddie.
First and foremost ensure your documents are in good order. In no way am I doubting that you have not done that before.
Second, contact your MP. Explain that this is not correct and that you would take full responsibility of your parents returning before the visa expiry. This would help you a lot.
Do your parents have enough property in India? Do you have a brother or sister in India? Show these ties.

Try this, it worked with us...
I know its quite frustrating to have parents visa rejected, sorry for that.
My suggestion is, invite them separately. When one parent stay in India, that's enough ties for officer to grant visa. We have done that for there first visit for my mom & dad. After that visit they both got visa when they applied together. I know its bit sad to have them come alone, but sometime you have to do it.
Do not spend money after lawyers for this matter.
Cheers,
Khalli
