Hi Mr.Massood
Firstly sorry for disturbing u on holidays.
I require your advice very urgently or anybody to help me out. I got a letter from chc telling me to sent the passport and a pcc - and also specified that the pcc to be taken from the district SP and the pcc from the regional passport office will be accepted if the passport is taken within a year.(I had sent the pcc , but my passport was taken in Jan.2001).
As I got married I was at my hubby home(rented) ,but soon I shifted to my parents home . Will appllying for my passport I had mentioned my temporary address and that is the one that has been printed on the passport and the present address is not printed.
In all my application ,correspondence with chc and all others here also is done with my present address(i.e my parents home)( My id card, driving license everything contains this address.). I should be senting the passport to chc so is there any problem since the old address is printed on that. Will in future or present any prblm with this. I am worried since everytime some or the other prblm raises.
With the passport office have I to make the changes inthe address.
Please advice me in this regard asap if possible before 6o'clock(indian time) since I shall be leaving office by 6.
Sorry for the trouble.
with warm wishes
LathaShiv
You should send the passport as it is. You may enclose a note explaining why the address is different. It's better to explain now. I am assuming you stayed at your hubby's address very briefly.
I had to reply to this SINCE YOU GAVE ME A DEADLINE! unfortunately I was flying and couldn't meet your deadline ... I hope the war is not lost because of my delay here!

Masoodji,
Namskar
I am sorry to disturb you during the much deserved break. But then I think you are the only one who can give to the point reply to my below mentioned queries.
Subsequent to the approval of sponsorship application, I am sending the Application Forms to my parents for further submitting it to CHC, Delhi.
However I have some queries as follows :
1. The checklist (Appendix A) talks about :
a) Identity and Civil Status Documents - Parents do not have the birth certificates. However they have the educational certificates mentioning the date of birth. Should they submit the same or an affidavit would do ?What is the alternative ?
b) Children's Information - Do they need to provide Birth Certificates of their children (i.e me and my brother) ? Supposingly these are not available, can copies of Passport serve the purpose ?
c) Proof of Relationship in Canada - How to handle this ? Can they submit the photocopies of PR card and Passport (of mine and my brother) to fulfill this requirement ?
2. The Form IMM 5408 (Section A) has to be filled by my parents separately. However I am little confused in filling this section. How to go ahead ? Will my Father will be an Applicant in his form and Mother an applicant in the second form ?
Masoodji, please provide your expert opinion on these issues at your conveneience. And yeah, there is no deadline.
Wishing you a Happy and Colourful Holi in advance,
With best regards,
