Hi Everybody !
I need some guidance regarding immigration. I got immigration in 2002 and was in Canada for some time . I had to return to India due to some personal problems. My wife continued there for some more time. She received PR card but eventually she also came back.
Now I would like to migrate back to Canada. My stay outside Canada has been more than the prescribed limits. What are the options for me. Do I have to apply afresh and process everything from the begining or is there any other way. Whether I can request for condonation of this period. If so, how do we go about it.
If somebody in the forum can throw some light on this I shall be very grateful
If you have not met the 2/5 years of residency requirement and the PR cards are not valid, you are out of luck my friend. You will have to go through the process again. That takes over 5 years these days.

Thanks. I am not fulfilling the 2/5 criteria . Is there any way this could be condoned.
