I am not sure 100% - but I think this restaurant was on Eglington/Victoria Park/O Connor drive in a small strip plaza and the entrance was from the backside of the plaza. Not an easy place to locate - but they used to have live music and gazals on weekend. Not sure if its still operating - not been there for 3 years...

Hope you had a good dinner on Sept 4th.
Just discovered a few restaurants in Scarborough:
Spice of India - on Markham Rd, located north of Lawrence Ave before Painted Post
Village of India - on Birchmount Rd, located south of Ellesmere Rd
Both these are vegetarian with a tasty buffet spread.
