Nice article thanks for the link. However, I'm not sure letting Kashmiris have independence is good thing for India. Like the writer says...it will probably collapse and then India will have an unlawful state a-la the Taliban Afghanistan which the Pakistanis will use to the optimum. We will probably have to send in the army and occupy it again and will be back to square one this time seen as an occupier all over the world. It will probably bleed India even more.

Maybe just give it to Pakistan and let them deal with it...and hold them responsible.
