I thought Khalistan is a banned organization in Canada.
But i guess the powerful Sikh MP's from Ontario and Vancouver must be still protecting it just like they managed to erase the Kanishka tapes.

Khalistan is not an organization, but a movement to get an independent state of Khalistan.
Babbar Khalsa, the group behind this movement (also blamed for Kanishka bombing) is banned in Canada and the US. But unfortunately, Sikhs being a major vote bank, especially in GTA and Vancouver, such protests have happened in the past with no intervention and opposition from the authorities.
And then they pull me over every time I speed on the pretext of me breaking a LAW. But who said the world is a perfect place..

My guess is never
It took so long for the Canadian government to recongnize LTTE as a terrorist organization, I doubt if such an action can or will be taken by them in this case...not sure if there are enough grounds for that. But I would like to see some such declaration against the group...
