Hi Guys,
I had a no fault (was rear ended) accident in jan 2009 and i had claimed just for body injury through my insurance since i was driving a rental car. The rental car insurance company covered the car damage. Now my insurance was renewed this year in july and it did not go up..but went down. now im thinking the reason it did not go up because the case is not settled yet?
My question to CDs is, if any ever had a no fault accident and they claimed and their insurance went up or not?
any help will be appreciated.

I had couple of accidents - rear ended. In one instance, the car was total loss. The insurance went down as the no-fault accident does not count. I got letter from Insurance co - 0% liability

The most important t thing insurance companies are looking if you are at fault or no fault. No fault accident does not count for premium increase. and some companies even ignore one small accident too. Different underwriting consideration of different companies. They have stat. to predict loss and reason of loss.
