Hello,
Seeking your opinion on career direction for a high school student, who is considering a CA/CPA.
Is it better to do a CA in Canada and then CPA or firs a CPA and then a Cdn CA? While the end result is same(?), are there any advantages in choosing one path over the other?

I think you should do Cdn CA first and then CPA. You dont really need a CPA, if you were to decide to move to US.

Hi,
I'm not sure if it suffix to all, I just say it from my personal experience. My husband did his CPA and is working for a Canadian company, again I'll say I'm not sure of the job market in Canada but my hubby had no problem finding Canadian jobs with US CPA (he is CA from India too). He also gets job offers from US; I feel doing CPA has got him both Canadian and US opportunities. He's in mining sector so I'm not sure if it is sectored experience which is adding to his opportunities. I'm not sure of it to be same for other job sectors.
Hope this helps.
