My Respectfull wishes to Intellectuals posting at this Forum:
My case:
I was International Student in Canada from May 2003 to Jan 2006.I applied for Immigration from Buffalo onin Sep 2005.My study permit was valid till feb 2007.Due to some reason I have to return to India leaving inbetween my studies. When I applied for TRV on Valid Study permit from India,I got refused & was unable to travel back to Canada to continue my study, even I had a valid canadian study permit.
I faxed to Buffalo that there is change in my address & gave my new address in India & WORST HAPPENED,they transferred my file to India.I am still struck in India,If my file had been in Buffalo I would have been PR.
KINDLY HELP me,what should i do,Can I qualify under Canadian Experience Class.
In how much time I might expect a decision,Is there anything I can do to speed up my processing.
KIND HELP.
I'm not sure how to help you out.
You are not living in the US, you can't enter Canada and you are living in India.
I don't know how Canada immigration can process your file in CHC Buffalo.
From your perspective as well, if your file stayed in Buffalo, how would you attend interview and give them your passport for stamping?
You will get the points for your stay in Canada, but I'm not sure how you can convince CHC to transfer your file to Buffalo.
If you really want to have your case processed in Buffalo, your only option is to move to the US (either as a student or as a worker) and then notify CHC New Delhi about your change in permanent address and request file transfer to Buffalo.

Sorry to hear about what happened to you. Once there is an immigration application pending, one should never leave the country--Just for others benefit.
Your application will have to be processed in India as mentioned above. There is no way for you to process it in buffalo now like you were not able to process it in India when you were here in Canada.
All the best

bc2on, u r wrong. Its not necessary to stay in Canada while file is under processing. Only reason in rak12345 case is, he cudn't travel back in Canada and his collage might have sent information to immigration dept in Canada as he was an international student and collages have to update abt their status. And hence CIC Buffalo had xfered his file to Delhi.
Rak12345: There is no way to ask CIC Delhi to xfer ur case to any other CIC in the world unless n until u move to the other country with valid long term visa. And in that case also decision is in the hands of CIC, Delhi to consider a xfer of file or not.
