Hi

I have applied for sponsering my parents and my case was moved to India last year in July 2007 and got medical done in December 2007, but later in March immigration department wants to conduct some extra test for my dad as he had an heart surgery in 2003 and he is ok after that. Now last month, they sent a letter stating, to perform Angography and told that you are burden for canadian health system and your case fall under section 38 (c).

Now my dad got some kidney test on higher range and so he could not go through Angography for heart.

Can anybody face through this situation or with your opinion and experence, please let me know, how to proceed with this situation now.

Your valuable input will be really helpful for me.

Thanks

What they are asking your Dad to complete for them is to establish that the health status is good and the previous condition has been overcome by him. He is stable in Health and will not be a further risk or a drain on the Canadian Economy.

Hence the NEW request for the Angiography. If he concludes the test and the report is GOOD and the CIC Doctors also give their O.K. for him to enter Canada, then they will proceed with the process. Otherwise, they will close the files and your sponsorship application will terminate and you are back to square ONE.

So, please pay heed or do the required formalities. Others who have gone through this secondary examination will chip in with their experiences. So. Wait for it too.

Good Luck.

Freddie.

Thanks Freddie

Now what I thought, to send them the reports of higher ranges for kidney test and to ask them to provide some extra time so that once they will recover from kidney and undergo Angioplasty. Is that ok to inform them for kidney problem or will it create more complication in their case.

I believe to get extra time, we have to convey the truth. Please reply.

Raj--Freddie is right . The ultimate decision in this case wud be yours because u r in a catch 22 situation where nobody can predict the result of medical board at CHC. But I feel that the less said the better. Can you PM me your phone number so that I can call u and discuss some of the similar cases.

I would like to suggest a solution to your situation.
Go through the two links I am providing. See if it gives you an idea as to what it involves. After that consult the experts at the Indian End and see if they will also say O.K. to ahead with the request from CIC and if they do, then go ahead and complete their requirements, through their approved list of hospitals. If it clears your Father, then, he should be here within an year or so.
After he lands here most of the future procedures could be carried out here through the OHIP.

So leave it to the Medical Specialists at that end to determine the issue.

Hope this helps you a little.
