i applied PR for my wife in the family sponsorship category.High Commission from New Delhi sent a letter to my wife in India stated :Send the following documents.
1.Original passport
2.complete the attached Foreign Travel form and return to this office.

in the Details of foreign Travel form they ask the following details:
1.Country visited, date and entry and exit, purpose of Travel (for Principal Applicant)
2.Country visited, date and entry and exit, purpose of Travel (for Spouse/Partner of Principal Applicant)

My wife hasn't travelled any country. I think my wife is Princiapl Applicant. Am I correct? In the spouse of principal applicant, what does she need to write? about my travelling details or what? does she need to fill this?

what's the better way to send passport? (i mean speedpost with acknowledgment or courier)

They are introducing region specific forms and if they send you one and ask you to fill them, please do so and return them together with the other materials requested. If there is a title or a number for the form, with the Gov. of Canada number, we can generate that one here and help you with the specifics.

There are a lot of Indian Ladies who work and travel and some even visit friends and relatives abroad and hence the specifics.

State that she has not traveled out side of the country. That will eliminate the other columns. Write n/a - not applicable, in appropriate spaces.

Since you know about your travel details, quote the same with dates and places that you visited. Find them in your Passport entries.

All of the above is to make sure that you get the police clearances for the countries you visited, if it exceeds six months at each place.

Yes, in India Speed post with ACK is as good as the Couriers. But choose a reputable one. Since it is advisable to provide then with a reply paid envelope to courier it back to you, (in some cases) ask the speed post to provide you with a prepaid one. Here in Canada you can't get to the Post Office for a buck. You please provide a strong envelope, slightly heavy material or made of fiber.

Thank you very much ftfl. It doesn't show any form number.it has just a title 'Details of Foreign Travel'. Since i am in Canada as a PR holder does she need to fill in the Spouse/partner of Princiap Applicant details?

Please complete the form as required. You might have more than one passport. If there are any entries in it with dates and places for your travels, provide them to your wife to fill them in with dates and locations as stamped in them. That forms needs to be completed as required.
