Check this out in Brampton ....... http://www.gottarent.com/apartment/vacancy.phtml?SpaceID=6346. It is just across the GO station and GO train takes about 35 mins to union station. It is also not far from Bramlea city center .... 10 mins by bus

If u are working in Toronto and looking to Rent.. u are better off renting in toronto.. Rent is same in Brampton and Toronto..

U will save almost 100$ pm on transit.. Toronto has better and more frequent public transport than Brampton. Lot of bus stops have shelters in Toronto. Very imp in winter.

Without car Brampton is not a good place to be..

Unless ofcourse u are looking at living with the family at BCC..

Wherever you go , see that the Apartment size is big and the neighborhood comfortable for you . Few places I can suggest are Islington Bloor , Burnamthorpe Old Mill , Royal York Dundas .....

I also work in Downtown and this 1 hr 15 minutes commute one way is killing me. I am looking for an aprtment in n around Downtown.
The 'Affordable ' appts(average $1300 for 2 bedroom) are there in Sherbourne , Weselly Parliament areas. But i am not aware of the quality of areas. Please share your experience/views coz i need to make decision before winter and move someplace near to my office.
