Hi Friends,
Just wanted to let you all know that we reached our destination-Edmonton Canada finally on 20th Spet.after a long long journey from UAE...
Its a very very beautiful city with the setting autumn colours....
I want to thank you all friends for all the support and guidence you have offered me during this period..
Keep in touch.
Regards,
Welcome to Canada. Hope you had a few days of rest and recuperation and got to see some parts of Edmonton. After you go through a sight seeing tour and seeing the rest of the Fall colors you will see the wonders of the nature as the next few months and years unfold.
I see it has measured up to your mental imaging and you will be starting on the right foot.
Now hope you find a nice place and a job to settle down and get through the initial settlement. When you find time please brief us more with your contribution under this thread, in your own words to all of us and we will see it through your eyes.
Good Luck.
Freddie.
Welcome to Edmonton. I Hope, you will enjoy the fabulous winter soon.

They have a huge indoor water park in the West edmonton mall. So on new year when it is - 40 degc outside the mall you can relax on the artificial beach in yur swim dress. And just a glass wall separates you from the bitter cold outside.
