Remember - it is just a movie - just a fantasy - just a way to make people feel good about themselves. It is not a solution

Once these stuff is in the city - there is very little can be done to identify them before hand.
They should stop all these from entering the city.

Well said. It's not the common man who has to stop terrorism, but country's Politicians, Police, Defence, and judiciary cohesively. Unfortunately, India has failed tremendously to stop these acts. Now, you can't even say that these acts are undertaken by the oppressed of society, as the people involved are well educated and from the premier institutions.
Common man has his hands full making living anyway. Often, I miss India too much that I wanted to be there and repent my decision to immigrate to Canada. However, when these incidents happen, I feel safe being in Canada.
Only God knows when this all would stop <sigh....>. It's frustrating really

Unfortunately, it is a chicken-egg kind of situation. We elect the leaders, so they must be accountable to us. They should be making laws that make us feel secure. Judiciary should be completely independent from the legislature and should be quick and effective. However, this is an ideal situation. Once you are in a position of power, first thing you make sure is to secure your surroundings.
Also, police, defence, administrative services - all are made of common people. A policeman's or soldier's spouse/kid/parent/sibling is at equal chance of getting hurt/killed by a bomb blast as any other common man

I beg to differ actually. I can't put the Politicians, Police, Defence, and Judiciary into the same bracket as a common man. Agree. We elect the politicians. But when was the last time they thought about country's interests over their own? How many clean, sincere, and truth provoking politicians have their say in the Govt. It's the politicians in the parliament that pass the bills and make laws. It's the Police that should implement those laws effectively. It is the deep rooted curruption on each level and hence the hollowness in the entire system. In India, Police is to harrass the people and show up on the scene when everything is done and gone. When the cases in country's courts run through 15-20 years, then what can you expect? All these gentlemen have a lack of will power, to say the least. Army/Defence have their own world and due to media restrictions very limited come out of their ranks.
All of my above views are in context of the prevailing terror situation in India. I am not saying that India is not doing anything, but rather the need of this hour. Hence in my opinion, it is all this the anti-social elements take advantage of.
