I will be visiting Chicago for the first time for 3-4 days next week. Just wondering if somebody can guide me with few interesting places to visit there.

Thanks in advance!

Ah, Chicago, Chicago - you are making me nostalgic.
It is one of my favourite places to visit, esp. this time of the year.
There will be a chill in the air, which I find very exciting and refreshing.

There is no dearth of things to do there, depending on what you like - there is sighseeing, museums, art/theatre, shopping - anything you can wish for.

A suggestion - try and stay as close to downtown as possible, ideally try and stay in downtown.
Stay close to N. Michigan Avenue - that's the central point from where you can plan your adventures.

The area where the river runs into the lake is magical, esp. at dawn and dusk.

Do the river boat tour/cruise.
Get a walking tour map from the airport or Amtrak station (depending on how you arrive there) and do the walking tour and visit all the gardens and museums.
The Natural History museum is very good.

Sears tower and Hancock tower for sure.

Consult the AAA guide - there's lots to do - you will run out of time and have to prioritize.

Don't rush from one "site" to another - take the time to enjoy the city, stroll around and breathe the atmosphere.
It's ok if you miss a museum or two, but don't miss the atmosphere.
Good luck !
