I am filling up the spousal sponsorship forms in India.My wife is a canadian citizen and id sponsoring my immigration.I have a question that is really confusing me.Firstly, on the marriage certificate the last name of my wife has been written as my last name.For example, she was Shukla before marriage and now she is Sharma after marrying me as my last name is Sharma.So, on the marriage certificate under Bride's name , her last name is Sharma.Now her last name in the passport is Shukla.And she has signed her set of immigration papers as Shukla.I am confused now as there might be a contradiction between her last name which is different on the marriage registration and her passport/her signature on immigration forms.I will be really gratateful if someone can guide me or offer some advice.Thanks a lot.Any help would be appreciated.
