There are some friendly Lawyers there in India who will charge a nominal sum and help you with the forms to completion. They do read between the lines and see what it is that calls for and show you how to go about it in a smooth way.

The most important item is the CHECK LIST. Start with it and see what all it calls for. Tackle one item at a time. When you have gotten over it, you go to the next till the last item. Simple as that. QED. Quite Easily Done. : Mifht take an hour to look and understand and a couple of days to organize the Bank Draft, pictures and travel ticket.

They take less than three weeks. In your case add another week. Now start packing.

You start the Agency and you are the agent now. Start doing the foot work. You already seem to know what it is from your letter.

You are way ahead of the game. It takes just about a month. (Two weeks to be exact.) Since you are a little shaky add another two weeks. You will need to obtain a ONE WAY Ticket in December of 2008. That is a BIG Problem.

Since you are in New Delhi, you are right at the EXIT DOOR.

SMILE. We all will help you with the best that we an.

Let me get this clear. You applied to a University and got admitted to the course that you want to enroll into and you also paid the FEES for the first year. Correct?

Canadian High Commission in India and where they are.:
http://geo.international.gc.ca/asia/new-delhi/menu-en.aspx

Please read this section first: http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/visaapplication.html

In Person drop off locations
http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/wheretoapply.html

This is the application: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1294B.PDF

Pictures: You need two pictures to go along with this application

You fill the same and get it ready. Then send it to the following address in New Delhi by your local courier, together with the fees.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/new-delhi.asp

Fees: http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/visafees.html
Re.5080/- The visa fee is payable by bank draft, drawn on Bank of America, favoring "Receiver General of Canada" addressed to the Canadian High Commission, payable at New Delhi. Remarks column at the bottom, student visa fee and your name. (GET ONE.)

Where you pay and get the draft: They are tied in with Bank of America. Get a Bank Draft for /- A DD made payable to "Receiver General of Canada" bought from Bank of America. (Above)

Visa fee, Multiple Entry, Re.6100/- By a DD Bought at Bank of America. Made payable to Receiver General of Canada. Remarks.. Multiple Entry - your name

They also want a fee of Re.56/- for handling charges for the Bank drafts. But it could be paid in Cash if you go there in person. Or pay this with another DD, drawn on Bank of America, payable to the Receiver General of Canada, IF you are sending it through the courier. No need to stand in line.

Personal information form:
http://vfs-canada.co.in/images/PIF.pdf

Pictures: Needs two more pictures.

Study Questionnaire Form: http://vfs-canada.co.in/images/Student%20Questionaire.pdf

Check list: http://vfs-canada.co.in/images/Student%20Checklist.pdf

Before you leave: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before.asp

After you arrive: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/index.asp

CIC Call Centers: After you land in Canada, you can get any information from them or from the University that you are studying at.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/call.asp

This should get you started and get you out of India in about three weeks.

Good Luck.

Freddie.

There are VFS Visa Application Centers, that have been opened up in New Delhi who will help you with all of these for a service charge of Re.610/-

THIS IS WHERE IT STARTS....

 Study Permit Visa Application form with two recent, original passport sized photos ( 2 inches x 1.5 to 2 inches in size)
 Personal Information Form...................

 If you are studying in Québec, your Certificat d’Acceptation du Québec (CAQ)

Proof of Funds

Complete information indicating how your studies will be financed for a minimum of the first 12 months (who the funds belong to and where they come from). This plan should be supported by documents showing accumulated funds,
including:.............................................

financial capacity to provide for your education for the duration of your studies
Note: English or French translations must accompany any documents not originally in English or French.
___________________________________________________________

1) Personal Information : Original ( form)
2) Personal documentation of the applicant : if applicable Original
3) Letter of acceptance.... etc., Original
4) Fully completed questionnaire Original
5) Educational certificates etc Original

YOU PLEASE RETAIN COPIES OF THE ORIGINALS.
Provide them with an additional photocopy for their files.
REQUEST the return of the originals as you might need them for your future use.
For this, you provide them with an envelope, PRE PAID, big enough to accommodate them to mail them back to you without bending.

Proof of funds: They need all originals.

Provide them with a photocopy.
REQUEST the return of the original documents as you will need them for your future use.
For this you provide them with an envelope, PRE PAID, big enough to accommodate them to mail them back to you.

_________________________________________

Here are the two check lists. Some of them may overlap in their list, so please read the list carefully.
http://vfs-canada.co.in/images/Student%20Checklist.pdf
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5483E.PDF

---------------------------------------------------------------

I see you are completing the list very carefully and you are getting along fine. Follow their instructions line at a time and complete it till the last line. Please go over it a second time, ticking each of their boxes. ALSO, submit the CHECK LIST attached to the submission. They need it. You please retain a photocopy.

Good Luck.

Freddie.
