Hi All,
I applied for PR at CIC Buffalo and then moved back to India(did not change my address). Now i received medical. I may expect a call to submit passport if my medical get cleared. In that case, can i not send my passport to Buffao in USA from India as someone mentioned in one of the msg that its illegal to send passports to other CIC/countries?

Your moving back to India might not work very much in your favor. You say that you applied for Immigration processing at BUFFALO. So, you were at a location different to the one you are currently at. (India)
When you get the Medical Request, you must be able to complete the same from the location at which you applied from. (Preferably). Now that you are in India, can you get back and complete it, and when the request comes for an interview or the Passport, can you not submit it then? If not, why not?
People who abandon their application from a location of residence due to some reason, stand to loose the benefit derived from submissions from those locations. Hence think twice before you make such a decision.
You face the consequences of such a decision. But your file keeps on moving from a newer location.
You win some and then you loose some.

You please send your Passport as you previously decided by COURIER to USA to your friends with express instructions that it is ONLY to be couriered back and forth and some one at the receiving end will be an authorized person for receiving it.
Once again after getting it stamped by the CIC in Buffalo for all of you, get the same back through the same Courier to you place of residence.
All this has come to light from the postings by the others here on Canadian Desi, after reading through different threads that all of you have posted and contributed to it.
Under Exceptional circumstances, you do break a few "Rules".
The risk is yours to undertake. So be guided by the same.
