skiing/snow tubing

Hi folks,

I have been thinking of skiing/snow tubing this holiday season.
As i m new to canada i would like to have few suggestions from you all.
Now what i know is skiing/snow tubing can be done near barrie...i believe..
it is blue mountains! i would appreciate if anyone could give me few tips/ideas
how do i plan?what is the best mode of transport any inputs would be helpful

If you are not experienced enough and if you dont want to go upto Barrie ... you can try at Mount Chinguacousy ... right here in Brampton.

I believe Prince77 is in Scarborough. The nearest one to him/her is Earl bales center located here :

While skiing takes little experience, but there is no harm in learning - as long as you have sufficient balance control. Some places even have short training programs and learners slopes to get you familiarised before attempting the steeper slopes.

You need to prepare well before you start - have alteast a decent and comfortable set of snow suit, ski goggles, warm and waterproof mitten/gloves etc.
