on the website it says form A to be filled online ,so do we fill it online and then

print and take the photocopies ,is it what it means.

They keep changing rules... at my time, online submission was not mandatory (it was optional)... but lateron I heard they made it mandatory...
so if website says Online, Online it is...

1. Refer to your consulate's website, Toronto, Ottawa or Vancouver whichever you come under. If they have stated USD, you can pay only in USD.

2. Photocopies need to self attested for Toronto consulate. For other consulates if they do not mention and you self attest, that should not be a big deal anyway.

3. You will need to submit one copy of each document for each set. One set will be one copy of form A+B. You need to submit two sets.

Can anybody tell me if the OCI visa sticker or OCI registration card shows person's place of birth also?

Just took the photos at Costco based on the PDF specs that was posted on mha.nic.in website to which I linked from CGI Toronto site.

After coming home took a close look at the checklist that VFS gives and noticed that next to light colored background they mention in brackets - not white. The freaking PDF file did not mention that I took light colored background to mean white just like passport photo requirements from Canada and US.

I don't know which ISO standards India is following to ask for a non-white background. Now have to go and find some other place that takes photos in this fancy non-white light colored background.

So take note and don't make this same mistake.

Yes, Place of birth, Occupation and father-mother's full names also written on OCI Registration card.

Visa sticker is called "U STICKER" has no birth place shown.
