We built a fantastic little snowman for our daughter. Nice time pass! :)

We also went to the woodbine centre that has indoor rides for young ones. Absolutely a super hit with ours.

Nothing wrong in spending time indoors...all those things we had postponed had to get done now since we had nowhere to go...and that's what we did the rest of the time.

We stayed in too... It was not so bad to get a forced break for a change. Our son (7 months) kept staring out the window at the fallling snow and was pretty amused. Next time though, I think i'll be hitting the mall (no other place to really go hang out with an infant). Didn't wanna risk the mall this time as they are PACKED!...

Wish you all a very happy holiday season and be safe !

I went on business as usual. I left for work on Firday at 8:00 am. The Canadians were so scared that no one was on the road (I drove the highway 401 for 90 kms at 120 kms per hour). The snow was falling very slightly and I could see 2 or 3 canadians off the road. As long as you go in a straight path and without using brakes suddenly you will be fine. It was snowing cats and dogs but i was in my office till 9:15 pm. Again all the snow was cleared and not much traffic. My boss told me at 10 am, 12 noon, 2 pm, 4 pm to leave, But I did not knowing that if I left, I would be stuck in traffic or be hit by a person who did not have common sense of driving.
Saturday, I went for shopping in mississauga (90 kms drive on the highway). Went for christmas shopping and finished 1/2 of it. Just did not care about the weather but just concentrated on fulfilling my needs.
As long as we use a little common sense (like not driving when most people are and not driving when the snow is falling or if you have to go to office during the peak snow falling period), you will be fine.

Hope this helps.
Peace

Totally Agree, use common sense ... But these days common sense is so not common.

Its better not to drive when you know there are Morons driving way above speed limits while conditions suggests to drive below.

and I thought the limit on 401 was 100kph not 120KPH.

oh well don't wish to continue, I do believe those who will, got the message.
