Has anyone (having Canadian PR status but with PR card yet to be received status) applied for a travel document in any Canadian Embassy / visa office (especially in Abu-Dhabi). If so how much time does it take for them to issue the travel document? Any information in this regard, if you would like to share, is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Usual time is between 30 - 60 days. Now during the holiday season add a few extra days. (Use courier services for faster responses) Please wait for responses from the people who have received the services. i do know of a few on this web site who did obtain such services.

Here in the USA, they have got it within two weeks.

Hi, we live in a country (latin america) where there is no Canadian embassy and still got Travel document for kids in 3 weeks (including the courier days, from our country to the one where embassy is). If paperwork is complete and all necessary documents are attached (when consulate has no questions to ask) it is done within 2-3 weeks.
