Hi guys,

Anyone have an experience about Taxi service at Ahmedabad airport?

I am planning to go to Ahmedabad and would like to use taxi service to reach at my home.

Any one have an idea about online booking or availibility at airport? How much it cost apporx? (Would like to go near to Drive In Cinema)

May not be of much help but yes as per this http://aai.aero/allAirports/ahmedabad_passengerinfo.jsp there is Pre-Paid Taxi available ...

And you can query here http://www.taxiwale.com/index.htm as well ... no harm in trying -

Prepaid taxi is available at ahmedabad airport . When you get down at airport you can get the taxi . for drive in it will cost around 300-500Rs.

prepaid means have to pay at ahmedabad airport before checkout? OR have to pay and reserv the taxi when buying ticket in Canada?

I don't know about Ahmedabad.. but in Delhi you can buy the pre-paid taxi tickets near the airport exit.. its after you have received all your luggage and gone through customs/immigration etc.

I think this is the only way for cabs.. if you need to book cars then may be u can do so using expedia etc. But really getting a taxi at the airport is easy.. no hassles.. and no need to be so worried about it.

There are many taxi drivers waiting for the passengers on Ahmedabad Airport. I am not sure what time you are reaching but during normal hours, it should not be an issue.

And the drivers are good.
