So I do give props when they are deserved and Shahrukh did great on stage. Ok so he may be a jerk in real life ( I did meet him and I wouldn't wanna meet him again) but he represented our country well at the awards and for that I salute him
wow you guys are fast.
yeah i am watching it too. cool.
Simon Beaufoy did not mention the acting cast - real bummer.
Someone musta brought it to the attention of the director who then mentioned them.
But AR Rahman really deserves that award and he thanked the billion people of India too!
and I was surprised to see King Khan present along with Pinto- did not expect that. and yeah he was very clear and held himself well.
Anil like let it all hang down -cool!
Did anybody see Irrfan?
IT WON BEST PICTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

right on- presented by Tom Cruise!
hey did any of you guys understand the comment by David Duchovny
"They tell me that the guy who just walked off the stage with the award is actually named ' A R Ruhman (Rueman?)' "
He was referring to A R Rahman.
MGupta,
It's unfortunate but true that a movie from India only wins when such is shown!
It was an OK movie... I'd not say it was award worthy....
What would be award worthy is if someone takes some action against all the wrong that was shown in that movie but that won't happen

Sorry Bro...for me this is not good news
this picture shows bad image of India....
people who hate India...they will never show progressive India...they 'll always show mumbai's Slum and how some people of peace prosecuted by Indian police
why Films like Hero's, LOC, Border , mother india, Gadar, never won such awards
