There was another gentleman who is going through the same system. All of You who are availing the NEW fast tracking system, should pool your resources at ONE central location on CD and start the thread and keep it going. So that we can see some continuity in that location.
Good Luck.

Living in Dubai.
Are you really keep on moving to Canada?
Situation in Dubai / ME is not as good as it was, but NA is quite bad right now.
I would be really surprised if someone moves from Dubai to NA during these times.
Hello Kunal,
Good to hear that your application on track and getting on time. I am assuming that you have applied your application for Canada from Dubai and Dubai having less processing time as compared to India consulate. I am on the same boat, planning to apply immigration for Canada from India and looking for some information from you such what your background are and in which category have you applied etc. It would be helpful if I could talk or discuss with you for same.
If possible share me your email id.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Abhishek
I do not know whether to be happy or sad by the new immigration list.
Thank You the Real One for giving me this list !.
Other than 1 entry there are no other options for the IT gurus. I've learnt through my friend - 2 Cases and I personally learnt today - 1 Case, where the students had come to Canada and obtained work permit and applied for PR under the IT category. These people were freshers but obtained good industrial jobs for salaries of the range of CAD 30K to 40K PA. Their applications have been rejected and the processing fees have been refunded. The regular guys with experience are not able to find jobs but the locally updated guys are not able to obtain PR. This is leading to a CATCH 22 situation, like see dog, no stone - see stone, no dog.
I'm sad that good professionals which Canada needs are being sent back by boat to their mother land. While I'm happy the list truely reflects what Canada wants and not to get everybody off the boat and get them underemployed leading them to frustration and sometimes to suicidical tendencies.
On the other hand many a families are heading back to the mother land after being laid off and unable to find suitable jobs. I do hope some of you who are heading back should share your story in order to prepare the new immigrants for their reality.
This is further sandwiched by the new restrictions brought about the Obama government on H-1B. The economic situation is relatievely better in Canada in comparison to USA and hence it must be relief for people to hang on to jobs but the question is how long ?.
A typical Indian Dharavi Scenario in USA:

No running water, no heat, no restrooms only a tent !.
May be an Indian movie director will make a movie in USA with US residents called \"Millionaire to Slum Dog\" and send it Oscars 2010.
