Hi TK,

I like what most of the people said except for some Srs who do not know how to write on this forum. This is a time to stand by. Any ways what my two cents is that go to HRDC and talk to experts there. EI is highly subjective and if you present your case well you will definitely get EI. I know of several cases where people had resigned due to work pressure but got EI.

Further talk to some lawyers for unjust firing.

Step 3 would be to give a call to Ontario Labour office and these people can then call your earlier office to put some advise in your boss' head. You may like to put up a case if you really have documentable evidence or you can give some evidences of these things.

And definitely start searching for service sector jobs although it will be a set back but you got to do what you got to do.

All the best from my side and in case you need any other mail you can send me a PM.

Regards,

SGhose

Very good post Krazzyfour, though i will like to add my point of view.
There is still huge demand of new SAP module/technologies and only few resources are in market.
Also this is a bad time for high dollar consultants (SAP. Delloite, Accenture etc. employees) because most of the clients can find cheaper resources in market via 2nd tier or 3rd tier companies.

Also it is very important to clear certification in SAP, and SAP certification exams are not hard (like Java), its very theortical in nature, which does not invlove much project experience. You just need to cram book or stuff from online help.

I think no one is giving you good advice.

If you would have use those words in India, the empolyer would have been beaten you and send you out the company the same time.

You are lucky that he (Gora)gave you two more days to work (with pay).Working with Gora is always pleaseure for Us.Indians are the most racist people Not Goras.

Write an apolize letter to your employer(Gora) and he can hire you back. Also go for an Anger management course which will help you with your career or Go to india.

TK ,

If you are taking SAP as an option think of it as a long term move -- decide which subject area suits you better and then consider a 10 yr horizon ... It takes a toil to reach a good position in any field .. and we must have been through all levels to succeed at the top ...

The golden words are perseverance , self confidence , learning and perfection ... Other things will follow automatically .... An advice I try to follow is - focus on solutions not on problems .... focus on long term goals and let what has happened pass by .... Life and career is very long and this may have been a turning point ... Good Luck !
