Hi Guys,

I am at the threshold of taking oath for Canadian Citizenship within a month (assuming that my written test went well). Right now I am living and working in metro Detroit area on US Green Card with my family. One thing is in the back of my mind what benefits I am going to avail in future when I give up my Indian Citizenship and taking Canadian citizenship. And I would also be eligible for US Citizenship in 4 ½ years.

I have some property and bank accounts in India and my mother is living in India and currently she is visiting us on visitor’s visa.

I am looking for good advice and experienced suggestions.

Hi,

Can you please tell usually how many days are in between: when you recieve the letter to appear for citizenship test and actual apperance date.
