Dear senior desis!!!!
I have problem with pick up of my permanent resident visa, as I applied in canadian consulate general in hong kong and now they sent me letter stating that I should pick up my visa in person within 90 days. Is there any possibility that with your professional assistance I could transfer my file from Hong kong canadian consulate office to Islamabad so that I can pick up easily. If that's possible then how much time all this process will take until I pick up my visa from here. third question is whether they 'll start my application as fresh application if you help it move from canadian consulate in Honk kong to islamabad pakistan. and Last but most important question: what 'll be your profession fee or charges in total for this job if you represent my case at this final stage?????
any senior desi !!! plz help me out.
It has been almost a week and no one replied to my Questions. I have got that Massood Bhai is on vacations and he is not responding any online request, so any senior desi who has views about this problem should plz respond.
I can't give you legal advice, but here is my take, FWIW:
Normally, it is not advisable to transfer a case after it has been approved and only passport stamping is pending.
Canadian RPCs are getting more and more strict about transferring cases, especially this late in the game.
For example, the Buffalo RPC here in the US stated on its website that they are becoming more strict in transferring cases to other posts on request.
I think you should try hard to make it to Hong Kong and have your passport stamped there - that will solve all your problems.
Exactly what are the reasons you cannot go to Hong Kong - if you can share with us, maybe someone will suggest a workaround that will enable you to travel to Hong Kong.
I think you took an implicit risk when you filed your case in Hong Kong as an out-of-jurisdiction case in a country you are not a citizen of.
I will suggest again try as hard as you possibly can to make it to Hong Kong.
By transferring your case at this stage (if it is at all possible to do so at this stage), you run the risk of delaying your Canadian PR for an indefinite period of time.
This is just my opinion, and not legal advice.
Hope this helps some.
