I have 1.5 months old baby. I have already got birth certificate, have applied for the health card. what are the other places I need to apply ; I think it is SIN CARD, passport. please suggest if i am forgetting something.
for child tax benefit, do I have to apply or they will do it by thier own??

I guess you didn't select the option of applying for SIN while registering for Birth Certificate. You still can do so...follow the link given below and choose your province and proceed...

CCTB & UCTB - you need to have an epass with CRA. Please advise your wife to sign up for a/c with CRA online. Usually they give to monther's a/c only. Money doesn't come automatically!!!

You don't need to have an epass. You can apply manually. Just download the form from the CRA website and mail it in.

Yep you're right, but all I was saying is there is an alternative way if you don't have an epass.
