Any experience with good eye examination center in Mississauga (Mavis/Derry) area ? Its been more than 5 years since I did the eye examination.

Went to Hakim Optical (Mavis and Britannia). Good doctor, thoroughly checked eyes. Price was $70 for examination. If your company covers medical, you will be re- imbursed

Is it advisable to do laser vision correction surgery.

Does anybody know anything about Lasik eye surgery?

I want to get Lasik eye surgery, but am not sure what the success rates are, how much it costs,
Its better here or India etc.

It is quite safe operation but sometimes you are left with some correction ( like -.25 to 0.5 ) . There are lot of clinics who are doing this in GTA. Cost is around 500 CAD per eye. In india, you can get both eyes done for this money. I will recomend to do it here for post operative complication ( if Any).
Overall, this procedure is quite safe & technology has improved a lot.
