Recently I met one person who immigrated to Canada from Iran in January 2004. He was interviewed by the Canadian Immigration Officer in Dubai. He was asked following questions during the interview:
-Why do you immigrate to Canada and leave your country?
-Tell me about your self?
-what do you think about your field (biomed) in Canada?
- Do you have some references in Canada?
-Tell me shortly about biomedical engineering?
-What were your math courses in university?
-what do you study in differential equation?
-What do you know about Canada?
-What do you want to do in Canada and what is your goal there?
-What if you did not find your favorite job after 1 year in Canada?
-What do you know about pc and software?
-What’s visual basic about that you said you know something about it?
Following answer was given by a Doctor in response to the question “What if you did not find your favorite job after 1 year in Canada?”
“For survival I can happily deliver pizza or can do labor job too” and his application was rejected.
Thanks and regards.

Some people make Things happen, Some watch Things happen, While others wonder what has happened.............
looks like the questions were asked just to fail him. Pretty tough questioning tho.
I am sure for indians it is a little more relaxed.
Good luck to all those who are waiting.
