Parking Ticket- Came in late into the Parking Lot

Hello,

I had been to Niagara Falls over the weekend. Parked at a Public Parking Lot.

When I came back , saw a note on the dashboard, they I have been ticketed $ 20 for parking over the time limit , I had paid for ?

My intention was not to avoid paying the parking. I came an hour late.

I have 2 questions for the CD's.

1. Does this affect my insurance .? This is my first ticket ever in 3 years.
2 . Should I then fight the ticket.

Please advise.

-- No, Parking ticket does not affect the insurance

-- You can go to the Court and since it is a first time ticket, most likely Judge will pardon you for this ticket. But considering $20 is not a huge amount and you will have to take a day off to go to court spend your time there. Is it worth it? I would recommend pay $ 20 now and be careful next time.
