Hi Dalsa,
For an experienced Engineer ( new comer to canada) and if he manages to find a job in his own profession, what could be the salary here? Assume that he is not PMP certified.
120-200K p.a.is starting salary for PMP certified plus benefits! Have you been invited for personal interview by the company or just asking?
Hope this helps!

I could guess that he had to "see" other candidates also b4 making final decision. I am bit confused.
Welcome to Canada!!!!
Canada is not like the Gulf /India where by when you go for an interview and the employer talks very nicely and positively that it means that you are selected for the job. It is not like that. The Canadian employer talks to everyone in a very normal / joyful positive way as they are supposed to treat everyone equal but behind the scenes they will choose the best candidate for the job.
Wishing you all the best
Peace by TK
