I have realised that the spice in food makes your taste buds go numb, so that you cannot discern the flavour/taste that a "non-Indian" tongue can. As a result, most of the non-Indian food tastes bland to an Indian tongue and hence the need to "Indianise" the food. Also, I believe that people here tend to enjoy the raw taste of vegetables, which I can never enjoy.

Quite true - eating habits are as distinct as culture and the hardest to change -- hence the need to Indianize ..
I am quite sure that whites would appreciate Indian food more if it were less spicy .. read non Indianized .
M_R ~ The menu in Indian Mc Donalds and for that reason all major food chains including Pizza Hut is different in India as compared to outside ..... I believe they have the Indianized version .
Reminded about it I recall in the Middle East , to appreciate local customs most of the food chains ... Mc Donald / KFC ... you name it were using halal meat ... I believe they adhere themselves to the local customs .....
I would prefer an aloo tikki to a soy patty any day .. maybe because I am more used to it ... blame it on the indian palate .

We have convection/microwave oven. If we are not in hurry time thn we coock the burger at covention at 250C for almost 10 min. (Flip it after 5 min.) If have to do it qick thn we use Microwave at high for 3 min. (Flip it after 1.5 min). Burger cooked in both ways taste good, coventionally cooked burger is always bit crispy. It applies to any burger availble in the market.
