Hi all,
I had changed my son's (8 yrs old) name legally here... Now i am going to apply for Citizenship but in my son's PR car still showing old name.
1. Is it necessary to apply for new PR car with new name and than i go to apply for citizenship or i can apply direct with old name PR card and copy of new name?
2. If i apply for citizenship with out change at PR card, what i have to put on name column........just new name or old name?
your advice will help me a lot.......
Thanks in advance......
If you have the official name change document, then use that moving forward.
Forget about the PR card - no need to get new PR card.
If at any place, it asks for birth name, then provide old name otherwise use new name.
Make sure to attach notarized copy of official name change.
