Hi Guys,
I think it's time to create an official thread for IPL 2009 here where we can discuss the latest results, scores, matches, crowds and everything happening in the IPL this year.

Its been quite a close contest this year, not a single team has been dominant throughout, except KKR have been the weakest. It surely is edge of the seat excitement and who ever planned the results surely did a damn good job.
I am also enjoying the FAKE IPL Player blog..that guy has lots of talent and guts...

I dont know about the guts but he sure is talented writer. If he is cricketer then he is in wrong profession.
No team is my fav ... but I sure not supporting KKR, & RR and to an extent BRC & HC.

They have many new comers, who has not even played first class cricket like Kamran,Raut and plus there are new comers. Plus they have Y pathan.. and now new opener--NV ojha
They play like a team .,..Go rajasthan ..show those big name player how to play as a team

At this stage I guess following would be the semi-finalists.
Chennai, Rajasthan, Delhi and Banglore (or Hyderabad)
No chance for Sachin and Yuvaraj this year

I hope you all read the 'sour grapes' story from Miandad...
With no Paki player to benefit from this years IPL, I was surprised he did not speak earlier...
I wish they are banned from future tournaments too....
I think its DD all the way this year...though CSK is unpredictable and deadly with Mat Hayden as opener and Dhoni as captain...
All in all its a paisa vasool tournament.
