Nope, sorry, you dont!! Infact, nobody knows for sure (although everybody thinks that they know). Look at the current world economic scenerio, nobody knows what's going to happen 6 months down the line, some say we are out of the woods, some say its going to be a double dip recession, Buffet says someting else, Ruben of CIBC says something else, and so on and so forth.....and everyday we are bombarded with new findings/conclusions. That's the real world situation now-a-days.
<<I doubt that usage of margarine or butter is the only cause for heart disease. There are a number of other reasons that may lead to heart conditions. And even among South Asians, the difference is food habit is quite varied. So I wonder that when McMaster doctor performed her research, did she take into account the regular diet of the person? (Whether person eats a Gujarati or Punjabi or Tamil diet)>>
I agree with you that but/marg is not the only reason of heart disease, but tell me something, are food habits that drastically different in the Indian sub-continent? I have lived and worked all over India before moving here, so didnt find any drastic (repeat drastic) difference in the food habits...........cant comment about the NE diet though.
<<Scientific findings/conclusions keeps on changing with time, we all know that.
