To keep India weak, Pakistan created these problems.
Of course, it is not a place at all to stock guns.
I don't need to read the original post again and I know what is it being discussed. But since you said 'Sikhs who are still crying'....it shows you want Sikhs to forget everything and this everything includes mass murdered too.
I too believe in going ahead and leaving the past but where's the justice? May be that was the only option left but just can't see operation blue star and the aftermaths separately.

Saloni
The temple and the surrounding areas were fortified and there were plans to declare an independent state with yours truly Pakistan ready to recognize on the lines of Bangla Desh ....
No one can appreciate the blood shed that took place but were the people (Bhindrawale and all ) right in bringing arms , ammunition and fortifying a place of religion ............. and have intentions of using it against the Government .
The action was the only way out to curb further deterioration of the situation . If every state were to ask for independence , India would not remain a cultural unity it currently is .

Fido.
We salute and acknowledge Sikhs for fighting for rights of human being from Mughal period until Indian freedom.
And beyond. Right it until this very day.
Remember, if it were not the Sikhs, the project of Jihad would have been complete. Aurangzeb would have succeeded.
Sikhs must remember that Congress discriminates not against them only; Hindus are also targeted and their rights trampled in India.
Forget Bangladesh or Pakistan. At partition time, there were many Hindu, Sikhs – today they have been marginalized totally.
Now forced to pay Jiyza to Taliban – the policies of Aurangzeb have come back.
Until Indians realize they that Congress can not have a monopoly on power – this will continue.

But the sikhs who are still crying a river for what happened a quarter of a century ago need to find something more productive to spend their energies on.
